Newborn Session Helpful Info...

Thank you for visiting my sight and viewing my images.  I want to let you know that I am passionate about my clients' experience, images quality, and all around blessing your family from beginning to end.  I am a mother myself, so I know how important it is to capture your newborn's tiny perfection while they are still so new.  I never had the chance to get professional images taken of my oldest, and I will forever wish I ‘d taken the time to find a great photographer.  Finding the perfect photographer is not easy, and it is a luxury when you have so many other expanses with a new baby.  I understand this and do all I can to give you the best images possible that you can treasure for a lifetime… long after other baby items are gone.  I have been photographing newborns for over 7 years and LOVE what I do.  It is such a challenging subject to photograph, but so rewarding.  This is my specialty!  I have been published in Newborn Magazine and on BestNewbornPhotographers.com along with others! I made the list of 2014's Top Newborn Photographers in the world!  (What an honor.)   I love that my work becomes your family’s forever remembrance of your baby’s moment in time. Thank you for choosing me and I can’t wait to work with you and your perfect newborn.

I book out several months in advance, so it is best to book your newborn session while you are still pregnant  (1st or 2rd trimester). Your session time-slot is heldafter I receive your deposit fee ($299). Once booked, I will pencil in your due date on my calendar.  Then as soon as baby arrives, please let me know so that I can schedule the exact session date and time of the session.  Newborn sessions MUST be done in the first 14 days of life (preferably between days 4-10), so it is imperative that you contact me as soon as possible after your little one arrives to schedule your session. (Many families text me from the hospital!) After they pass the 14-day mark, they become less sleepy and much harder to pose.  If you happen to find me after your baby is born, I will do my best to try to squeeze you in before the 14-day mark.  Note: After 14 days we can still do a “Baby” session, but your poses will most likely be different from the “Newborn” poses and your sweet baby will be more wide eyed in your images.

Erica Loree Photography is a natural light photographer, and has professional studio lighting when needed.  Newborn sessions take place at my home studio in the morning light.  You can expect your newborn session to last around 2.5-3 hours.  Newborns photograph best in their natural state so no need to provide clothes, just your beautiful baby and any family mementos you would like in the shots.  I will take care of everything else. It is my honor to be chosen as your Newborn Photographer.

If you have any questions about booking a newborn photography session with Erica Loree Photography, please don’t hesitate to contact ME.
